If accomplishment after glorious accomplishment has failed to answer her burning questions, what can be the harm of falling back down the rabbit hole?  Rolling, careening, tumbling into the arms of that flurry of orange and energy and sincerity - that embodiment of the hint of madness and his honest acceptance of who she is?  Maybe the answer to her question is that there is no answer.  How much simpler, to crash into him and lose her mind to the experience.
I have been considering things that begin with the letter 'M'.

Maybe Alice has, too.

I think that it's easier said than done to simply accept things as they are (or, in this case, to believe that there is no answer) instead of actively searching for something (or, in this case, for the answer). For some reason, I don't believe that Alice would be satisfied with a non-answer... but I think that she -would- be satisfied with Tarrant.

Maybe the answer to her question is Tarrant. :D

This was written more or less under the assumption that Alice would find, after years of pursuing answers in Otherland, that the answer had been waiting all along in Underland.

Because I'm an incredibly romance-besotted AxH fangirl, and this is how I want it to turn out. :lmao:

I was thinking about it, and there's a saying... "No answer is still an answer."

But yeah, I get what you're saying. That's my favorite fangirl for you.

Maybe the answer to her question is that there is no answer.

This is great. There is a peace of mind that comes when we cease to chase all that we desire and instead thankfully accept whatever it is that we receive.
